Br. Danyal Khan

Danyal Khan is the Executive Director at IECPA, where he oversees strategic implementation and day-to-day operations. He takes a people-oriented approach to leadership and has transformed operations to be holistic when addressing community needs. Danyal holds a bachelor's in Psychology from Saint Peter’s University and a Master's in Nonprofit Management (Social Work) from Rutgers University. He has been serving the Muslim community for eight years, most notably as the National Director of Muslim family services at ICNA Relief USA and as the CEO of the Islamic Association of Raleigh. During that time, Danyal road-mapped multiple strategic plans, established dynamic teams, mentored up-and-coming talent, and often worked with boards and community leaders as a strategy consultant. Outside of his role at IECPA, Danyal works to raise awareness of the mental health challenges Muslim communities face in the U.S. and organizes solutions and resources to address them.
