Ibrahim Jaaber serves as the full-time Youth Director at IECPA, where he is responsible for leading and overseeing various youth programs and initiatives while fostering growth and development among young members of the community. His journey in youth enrichment and education is backed by a solid educational foundation, having earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania as well as an Executive Master's Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship and Cross-Cultural Dialogue from the ADR Fellowship of Cambridge and Cornell University. In addition, Ibrahim holds a Certificate in Positive Youth Development from the Youth Intervention Programs Association (YIPA). Prior to joining IECPA, Ibrahim studied Arabic, the Quran, and various Islamic sciences in Cairo, Egypt, for three years.
Ibrahim's dedication to youth enrichment is particularly noteworthy. In 2012, He founded a youth organization called Color Me Muslim that served youth across 3 primary counties in the state of New Jersey. Those experiences would serve as the foundation upon which his youth vision was built. Ibrahim is also a former professional basketball player who was inducted into the Philadelphia Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017. His diverse skill set also includes being an internationally traveled poet and public speaker particularly renowned for his original Islamic poetry. His education, life experience, and unique skill set allows him to build strong connections with the youth year after year.
